Yanmar 8LV | LV
With the 8LV, Yanmar is launching a new water-cooled diesel engine with a displacement of 4.5 litres and an output of 235 or 272 kilowatts.
The 450 kg drive unit is equipped with two turbochargers and is available with either the ZT 370 twin-propeller Z-drive or the KMH50 gearbox. Thanks to the Vessel Control System (VCS) from Yanmar the inboard can be controlled conveniently and precisely using a joystick. The 8LV operates at a maximum speed of 3800 revolutions per minute and fulfils the strict EPA Tier 3 emissions standard.
