The power unit is based on the V8-380, which was completely redeveloped last year. The special feature of the new engine is that it has less power thanks to a software revision, but fulfils the strict Lake Constance emissions standard. This increases the Volvo Penta engine range for Lake Constance to a total of four models. In addition to the V8-225, V8-270 and V8-300, the new V8-350 represents the new pinnacle in terms of performance. The eight-cylinder for Lake Constance may only be installed as a single unit. On all other waters, however, double installations are no problem. The petrol engine is supplied with an Aquamatic duoprop drive. Dual-circuit cooling is standard on the V8-350. According to the data sheet, the maximum speed is 6000 rpm, whereby the 350 hp is already available at 5800 rpm. The manufacturer gives the weight of the complete system as 488 kg.
