Specialising in the design, construction and refit of luxury motor and sailing yachts up to 80 m in length, Sarp Yachts is one of the largest and most modern companies in Antalya. The Turkish yacht builders work together with the world's most recognised designers. A must, considering that exotic building materials and higher standards are clearly changing the boundaries of what can be built.
Van Oossanen has designed a semi-planing hull for the Sarp XRS 85, which is made of composite carbon fibre. Equipped with two 1000 hp MAN diesel engines, the 24 metre long yacht is designed to move through the water at 21 knots under full load. If you set yourself a speed limit of 12 knots when cruising, you can plan on a range of more than 1000 nautical miles. Diesel tanks with a capacity of 8000 litres make this possible.
The design of the Sarp XRS 85, which incorporates the unmistakable features of an explorer yacht, is based on a concept that offers plenty of living space and comfort. The driving position, two convertible sofas and a bar are located on the main deck, where a hardtop with sliding roof provides protection from the sun and rain. The main deck one floor below is dominated by a glass-fronted saloon, which provides space for the second driving position, the galley, sofas and armchairs and a dining table with eight chairs. In the cockpit, two sumptuous sofas and four deckchairs in front of the bathing platform fulfil the desire for comfort.
The whirlpool on the foredeck is a real highlight. The owner's suite and the cabin "for the very important people" have large double beds, take up the entire width of the boat and, like the two guest cabins where you sleep in separate beds, are equipped with separate bathrooms. The crew sleeps in the bow in bunk beds.
