Bootscenter Potsdam-Berlin GmbH commenced operations on 4 May 2026. The managing partners are Kevin Marquardt and Tom Pagels from Bootscenter Kiel and Kalle Thiele from Sportboot Center Hannover. The company is based in the Marina am Tiefen See, Schiffbauergasse 8, 14467 Potsdam. The company holds the distribution rights for Quicksilver Boats and Mercury Outboards in the greater Berlin and Brandenburg area. At the same time as the new company is founded, Sportboot Center Hannover GmbH and Bootscenter Kiel GmbH are entering into a strategic partnership. The aim is to offer boats, engines and services across all locations. In addition to Quicksilver and Mercury, the group also offers the brands Bayliner, Iron, Nordkapp, NAVAN, Parker and SeaStorm.

Large range of Quicksilver boats

According to the company, the merger of the three locations creates a huge range of Quicksilver boats on display. According to the company, the availability of Mercury outboard motors is one of the most extensive in Germany. A standardised service and advice network extends across all locations. Customers can access a wide range of products and benefit from the combined expertise of the partners. The Potsdam site is located directly on the water and offers access to the largest inland water sports area in Europe. The location allows direct access to the water for test drives and handovers.

Focus on digital channels

The boat retail group relies heavily on digital channels. The companies have a wide reach on social networks and a growing community. The offering includes product presentations, tests and reports on sailing areas. Digital advice and customer proximity via social media are part of the strategy. Customers can experience boats and technology digitally before they buy. The modern approach provides a first impression of the products and their possible uses.
