Hulls can hardly be reinvented. This also applies to specialised boat types such as water ski or wakeboard towing boats. But there always seems to be room for improvement when it comes to the details. Correct Craft also promises this for its latest model: the shipyard from Florida praises the Sport Nautique 200 as the "ultimate leisure boat for the whole family", perfect for water skiing and all kinds of wakeboard acrobatics.
The hull is the same as its sister model, the Ski Nautique, but the new all-rounder is equipped with an inboard engine with reversing gear instead of a conventional shaft (engine options from 343 to 409 hp), a passageway to the bathing platform and an all-round seating arrangement for optimum room layout.
The wakeboard tower is equipped with swivelling racks for the boards and the central water ski towing pylon can be removed to create more space in the cockpit. A cool box is concealed under the starboard seat and there are generous storage compartments under the observer's seat and in the stern. Empty, the 6.10 metre long Sport Nautique 200 weighs around 1400 kg.
With the help of neat electronic and mechanical aids such as Hydro Gate and Sport Shift, the shape of the tail shaft can be conveniently changed from the steering position, depending on what kind of sport is currently on the agenda.
