Germany's largest inwater boat show presents an impressive selection of around 170 motor and sailing yachts - from six to 24 metres in length. There will be numerous new products and premieres from well-known manufacturers. The focus will be on Scandinavian boatbuilding with brands such as Aquador, Absolute, Beneteau, Axopar, Bavaria, Iron, Jeanneau, Nimbus, Norkapp and many more.
Multihull fans will also get their money's worth: three motor catamarans, four sailing catamarans and a trimaran offer exciting opportunities for comfortable travelling on several hulls.
In the large exhibition hall (1,500 m²) and over 100 pagodas along the harbour wall, equipment suppliers will be presenting their products and innovations. The magazines BOOTE and YACHT as well as Delius Klasing Verlag will be represented with their own stand, offering advice on boats, books and nautical charts. Just like last year, a special highlight will be the "rope estimation" at the BOOTE & YACHT stand. Anyone who guesses the correct length of a Gleistein rope has the chance to win one of four ReBob mooring ropes worth 400 euros each - sustainably produced from recycled PET.
BOOTE magazine offers a real thrill with the Foil Experience: visitors can try out a foiling electric boat from the Candela brand - a futuristic driving experience over the water. E-foiling with an electric foil board is also possible. The one-hour beginners' course costs 50 euros and is supervised by experienced instructors. HERE for more information about the Foil Experience.
In addition to boats and technology, the festival also offers a varied supporting programme. There will be talks, interviews and live demonstrations on several stages and in the exhibition hall. Food trucks will spoil visitors with international specialities. On Saturday evening, the harbour night with live music provides an atmospheric end to the day.
The In-Water-Boat-Show opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Tickets cost 14 euros at the box office (12 euros online), reduced admission costs 11 euros (9 euros online) and children aged 6 and over are admitted free of charge.
