For our water sports editors YACHT and BOATS we are looking for full-time to the as soon as possible one Editorial trainee digital publishing m/f/d.

These tasks await you:

  • a two-year traineeship in digital publishing, where you will learn about and master all aspects of journalistic work
  • the most exciting thematic environment you can imagine
  • plenty of feedback and guidance from professionals who have been working as page makers for many years with the same passion as you
  • Training and further education at renowned journalistic training institutes

What you bring with you:

  • Ideally, a degree in communications or comparable knowledge from a qualified training programme
  • Enthusiasm for sailing and boating with all its facets
  • You already have several years of experience on boats, are not easily dissuaded from the course and ideally have the necessary boating licences (SBF Binnen/See)
  • High motivation to work as a journalist
  • Familiarity with social networks, enjoy communicating at eye level, desire to take your readers and followers on the water with you
  • Good knowledge of English

At the editorial office in Hamburg The editorial teams of the magazines YACHT, BOOTE, SURF, SUP, WING and BOOTE-EXKLUSIV work together. Websites, social media, digital specials, YouTube videos, newsletters and podcasts are all part of the publisher's digital offering for water sports enthusiasts.

Delius Klasing is one of the leading special interest publishers in Europe. Delius Klasing's printed and digital magazine portfolio (including BIKE, YACHT and TOUR) comprises a total of 17 regularly published magazines as well as the corresponding digital editions and various special and annual publications. The book publisher's programme includes around 800 available printed titles and 630 e-books. The company also organises around 30 of its own target group-specific events.
