Linssen Boating Holidays is expanding its charter programme to include a new area in northern Bavaria. From this spring, the new Linssen partner Blau Weiss Yachtcharter will be chartering out a Grand Sturdy 35 AC from Nuremberg.

Until now, the Main-Rhine-Danube region has been a blank spot on the map for charter customers. This is set to change from April. From the vibrant financial metropolis of Frankfurt, past the lush vineyards of the Main valley, medieval castles and villages, to the idyllic Danube: the region has a lot to offer boaters. The well-developed waterways are easy to navigate, even for inexperienced boaters. And Würzburg and Nuremberg offer a variety of activities and sights for a shore excursion.

Three route options between the Main and Danube rivers are presented on the Blue White Yacht Charter The "Bavarian Breeze" offers a variety of cruises: for example, a 7-day cruise from Nuremberg via Bamberg to Würzburg or a 14-day cruise to the Hessian metropolis of Frankfurt. An interactive map on the charter company's website provides tips for harbours, mooring options and places of interest in the new cruising area. The Linssen Grand Sturdy 35 AC is equipped with two spacious sleeping cabins, each with a double bed, as well as two bathrooms with electric toilets and showers. The boat can also be booked for up to six people thanks to the fold-out sleeping facility in the saloon.

Jill Grigoleit was born in Hanover in 1985. An early childhood memory is the large collection of YACHT and SURF magazines from her sailing and surfing enthusiast father. However, growing up in a small Swabian village on the Neckar, she had less to do with water sports in her childhood, apart from a few trips to the Baltic Sea with her family. After studying journalism in Bremen and Hanover, she went into television for a few years. Through a few lucky coincidences, she ended up on the water in 2011 and then returned to the written word professionally. For over ten years, she lived with her family on a houseboat in their own harbor south of Hamburg and wrote a book about houseboat building and life with children on the water. Since 2020, she has mainly been writing travel reports and features about people who live and work on and near the water for BOOTE. She has been a permanent member of the Delius Klasing water sports editorial team since January 2024.
