Our overview map in the current May issue of BOOTE (on sale from 25 April 2012) shows the twenty public moorings for pleasure craft that already exist in the greater Berlin area. Most of them are located directly in the city centre and offer quick access to many of the sights that the metropolis on the Spree has to offer, from Alexanderplatz to the Reichstag and the government district. As a rule, the length of stay at a mooring is limited to 24 hours. With one exception - in Berlin-Köpenick (No. 17) - use is free of charge.
You can see exactly where the piers are located on the map in the booklet. Under the corresponding consecutive number you will find all other important information, such as exact location, connections to public transport (underground and suburban railway, bus and tram), places of interest and special features. The photo gallery above shows the moorings in the picture.
Correction Unfortunately, we made a small mistake in the booklet: the second berth in the list, Potsdam below the Glienicke Bridge (PHv-km 28.6), should of course have the serial number 2, and not 3, like the following berth in Oranienburg.
