The British Virgin Islands can be explored with Charter Powercat.
Information about the charter and the British Virgin Islands live and free of charge: The Moorings and the BVI Tourist Board are hosting a free online seminar on 22 October 2025.

The British Virgin Islands - BVIs for short - in the north-west of the Caribbean are a dream destination for many skippers. From the Bitter End Yacht Club to the famous rocks of The Baths, the archipelago offers a multitude of extraordinary destinations for a cruise. However, if the journey on your own keel is too far (or impossible for a variety of other obvious reasons), a charter holiday is the perfect way to get to know the area for yourself.

The Moorings is the leading local motor yacht charter provider; from its base in Road Town on Tortola, the largest island in the BVIs, the entire archipelago can be explored by power cat.

Registration until 12 noon on 22 October 2025

To introduce interested parties to the area and explain the local features, The Moorings and the British Virgin Islands Tourism Board are hosting a free live seminar tomorrow, 22 October 2025 at 6.30 pm.

According to the announcement, the focus will be on innovations for the 2026 season, as well as travel options, nautical conditions, route suggestions and skippered charters. Registration for the webinar is possible until 12 noon on 22 October.

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
