In the premium motor yacht segment, a new name is causing a stir. The VEYA 53 will celebrate its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026, presenting a new vision of life at sea – more open, more sociable and tailored entirely to the way owners really want to spend their time on board.
VEYA Yachts was born out of the combination of expertise from Fountaine Pajot and Couach. The brand draws on decades of French expertise in boatbuilding whilst developing its own distinctive identity: contemporary, self-assured and focused on meaningful experiences rather than conventions.
Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, the 16.5-metre VEYA 53 combines elegant proportions with the volume and stability of a motor catamaran. Its elongated glazing, balanced silhouette and wave-cutting bow shapes create a modern profile, whilst the carefully engineered hulls are designed for comfortable and efficient cruising.
Life on board flows naturally between a series of spacious communal areas. The aft cockpit opens directly onto the saloon and galley, creating an inviting setting for relaxed meals and spending time with family or friends. At water level, the hydraulic stern platform becomes an inviting extension of the yacht – a place to swim, launch the dinghy or simply enjoy the surroundings.
At the forward end, a separate cockpit offers a more intimate retreat, whilst the spacious flybridge combines two helm stations, a lounge and an outdoor kitchen. It is a space designed for long afternoons al fresco, unobstructed views and relaxed socialising.
Inside, natural light and unobstructed views create a calm, modern atmosphere. The VEYA 53 is available in configurations with three or four cabins. In the three-cabin version, the exceptionally spacious owner’s suite occupies the port-side hull, offering privacy and comfort for extended stays on board.
With five models in production, VEYA is steadily approaching its first public unveiling in Cannes, followed by its US debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The VEYA 53 is not simply about reaching a destination. It’s about creating a place where people can come together, unwind and experience the sea exactly as they wish.
