Van den Hoven Jachtbouw will be showing the Voyager 56 Fly in Southampton in May 2026. The 17.3-metre aluminium yacht offers six berths.

Van den Hoven Jachtbouw returns to the British Motor Yacht Show in Hampshire. The shipyard is presenting the Voyager 56 Fly there, after showing the Voyager 50 last year.

Aluminium hull

The Voyager 56 Fly measures 17.3 metres in length. The hull is made of aluminium, which reduces the weight compared to plastic. According to the shipyard, the lighter material reduces fuel consumption and enables higher speeds. The yacht can reach speeds of up to 22 knots. The design was created by René van der Velden, who is responsible for the entire Voyager series.

Inside and outside

The interior offers an owner's cabin with its own bathroom. Two further double cabins share a bathroom. This creates six berths. The saloon combines galley and bar in one room. Underfloor heating is installed in all areas. The yacht has two helm stations. One is located in the saloon, the second on the flybridge.

The aft deck is largely covered and equipped with a corner sofa. There are sun loungers on the foredeck and an optional sun canopy can be installed. In addition to the second helm station, the flybridge offers further sun loungers and a seating area. An outdoor galley with fridge and barbecue enables meals to be prepared on deck. The integrated garage accommodates a dinghy up to 3.25 metres in length. This is used for transfers between the yacht and the coast as well as for water sports activities.

Model range and shipyard

The Voyager series currently comprises four models: Voyager 50, 56, 61 and 71, with a Voyager 80 in the pipeline. The Voyager 56 is available in two versions: as a coupé and as a fly. Michelle van den Hoven explains that the positive response to Dutch aluminium yachts has reinforced the decision to exhibit at the fair. The third Voyager 50 is currently under construction at the shipyard. Completion is planned for spring 2027. Anyone ordering a Voyager 56 now will receive it in 2028 at the earliest.
