The course covers measures ranging from preventing a person from falling overboard to rescuing and providing further care for the person involved, presented in a practical and easy-to-understand way.

Mara Zapp, head of the Well Sailing sailing school, has been teaching various water sports since the nineties. Since 2017, she has been an integral part of the sailing school’s training team, which she has now been leading for five years. There, together with her team, she runs eight to ten World Sailing-certified safety training courses (Safety at Sea) every year. The experience gained from these courses, combined with continuous professional development and a touch of humour despite tackling challenging topics, are what set Mara Zapp apart.
