Most e-boats are powered by outboards, sterndrives or shaft drives. Jet propulsion is still rather rare. EJET uses precisely this drive for its 4X tender.

EJET is a Slovenian company whose mission, according to its own statements, is to develop an electric jet tender that is in no way inferior to its combustion engine competitors in terms of performance. Thanks to the electric drive, it is also possible to explore protected areas where conventional combustion engines are prohibited. Another advantage is the shallow draught, which makes it easy to land on the beach.

The 60 kW drive is controlled by an electronic system that offers different modes: Slow, Eco and Sport. The maximum speed specified by the shipyard is 35 knots. When the battery is low, the system automatically switches to low-battery mode to ensure a safe return to a charging station.

A 6 kW charger (standard) and a 12 kW rapid charger are available. The charging times for the 46.2 kWh battery are 8 and 4 hours respectively. How far can you travel on one battery charge? The shipyard gives a value of 40 nautical miles.
