Easier said than done Scandinavian design is when form follows functionality. That's what they say at Rand Boats. If you agree with the Danish boat builders, then the Breeze 20 is the perfect combination of athleticism and functionality and, with its lightweight construction and special hull design, the ideal boat for electric drives. The outboard on the transom has an output of either 6 or 12 kW. Matching 10 or 15 kWh batteries are installed. When cruising at 4 knots, the Breeze only needs to be charged after 20 hours. If you are in a hurry, you can plan for a top speed of 10 knots. The equipment includes a centre console, plenty of storage space, rear bench seat and cockpit table as standard.

Diva Manufactory Diva 7

Turning old into new The boat builders from Brandenburg found their role models in the runabouts from the 1920s. The clear lines of the underwater hulls, the location of the engine under the foredeck and the conventional shaft system have survived to this day. In contrast, state-of-the-art materials, epoxy sandwich construction and the design of the engines are brand new. Combustion engines are a thing of the past. Currently, a 115 hp Piktronik electric motor, which promises a range of over 54 nm (100 km) and a top speed of 10 kn (19 km/h), is the bestseller in the portfolio of company founder and boss Frank Fritze.
