Astondoa presents its new 24 metre class, the Ax8, at the Palma Boatshow. The layout is surprising, the design is impressive.

Although the Ax8 is one of the more compact models in the Astondoa range with a length of around 80 feet, it surprises with a spaciousness that is otherwise only known from much larger yachts. The spatial concept allows all areas on board to be optimally utilised. The outdoor areas in particular open up wide towards the water, creating a feeling of freedom and space.

The room concept

Inside, large windows create a bright and airy atmosphere. The generous glazing lets in plenty of daylight and gives passengers an unobstructed view of the surroundings. This creates a close connection between the interior and exterior of the yacht.

A spacious saloon forms the centrepiece of the boat and offers space for relaxing and entertaining. The adjoining galley is spacious and equipped with high-quality appliances.

The four cabins (plus crew cabin) of the Ax8 provide guests with sufficient privacy. The spacious owner's cabin in the foredeck has its own bathroom and offers plenty of storage space. Additional guest cabins ensure that fellow travellers can also be accommodated comfortably. Each cabin is furnished with high-quality materials and offers a cosy ambience in which to relax after a day at sea.

Modern design meets functionality

When designing the Ax8, Astondoa favours a contemporary style that combines innovative materials with trendy textures. The shipyard collaborated with Cristiano Gatto Design Studio for the interior design. The result is an interior that satisfies even the most discerning tastes.

Despite the focus on aesthetics, the Ax8 by no means neglects the practical aspects. As a true crossover model, it not only offers comfort, but also outstanding seaworthiness. The hull shape ensures high course stability and safe handling even in rougher conditions.
