The new Boarncruiser Ocean series offers three different sizes as Coupé, Sport or Flybridge with extensive customisation options. Depending on the motorisation, ranges of up to 2500 nm at 6 kn are possible.

The traditional Dutch shipyard Boarnstream is expanding its range with the Ocean series, which is available in three different sizes. The model range includes yachts with lengths of 53, 58 and 65 feet (equivalent to approximately 16.2 metres, 17.7 metres and 19.8 metres). Each size variant is offered either as a coupé or with a flybridge, with the 53-foot variant also available as a so-called "Sport" edition.

Semi-custom design for individual requirements

All Boarncruiser yachts are built according to the semi-custom principle. This means that the hull and superstructure are manufactured according to Boarnstream's fixed, fully designed plans. Buyers can have all other elements customised according to their own ideas. The customisation options extend to the interior layout, the materials used and the technical equipment. The shipyard focuses on maximum flexibility: as long as a customer request is technically feasible, it can be realised.

On the main deck, the cockpit, saloon, galley and aft deck are all on one level, with a folding window between the galley and aft deck. On the lower deck there are two bathrooms with separate showers and toilets as well as a large guest cabin and the owner's cabin. The great advantage of the owner's mid-cabin is that it is located at the widest point of the boat, maximising the use of space.

Model variants for different riding styles

The Boarncruiser Ocean series covers different usage profiles. While the coupé versions offer a closed steering position, the flybridge models also allow open-air cruising. The 53-foot version is available in a special "Sport" edition. This version is based on a semi-planing hull (semi-displacement), which is designed for higher speeds. In contrast to displacement hulls, a semi-displacement hull partially lifts out of the water at higher speeds, thus reducing water resistance and improving efficiency.
