The publisher's Tritone was the last one ever built. It was lost for a long time. Now it's back - fantastically restored.

The Riva of the publisher Axel Springer (original name of the boat "Raimond"), long thought to be lost, is the last example of the Tritone, of which only 258 were built between 1950 and 1966. Hamburg Hanseboot can be visited.

The Italian boat, which has since been christened "Hermes", was restored over a year and a half by Riva specialist Jürgen Renken and two fellow boat builders in Hamburg's Bahrenfeld district. The two Chris Craft eight-cylinder engines of the classic were dealt with by a specialist in the Lüneburg Heath.

The elaborate restoration of the boat was documented by long-time BOOTE author Erdmann Braschos together with a photographer from Hamburg. Boat owner and publisher Konrad Börries from Berlin presents boat and Book with the title "Riva Tritone T 258" in the so-called "Hall of Fame" of the Hanseboot.
