Under the brand Galia The smaller sports boats from Galeon are grouped together in the Galia range - and with more than 20 models, that's quite a lot. A new addition is the Galia 670 MC, which has now been nominated. The two initials stand for "Middle Cabin" and the concept is clearly in the direction of a multi-purpose boat: a lot of functionality, such as all-weather suitability, has been combined with a dynamic design that counteracts the compact lines and leaves a very sporty impression.
The GRP glider is only 6.82 metres long, weighs around 2000 kg without the engine and has a draught of just 0.56 metres. An outboard motor with a maximum of 250 hp is authorised for propulsion. Eight people are permitted on board the category C boat.
Inside the cabin, there is a double slip berth forward, a table with two seats to port and the helm station to starboard. The fully enclosed on-board WC is located directly behind this.
For the election to the "European Powerboat of the Year" is the Galia 670 MC in the Category up to 25 feet nominated, just like the Four Winns S 215 or the XO 240 RS Cabin. As always, the winners of the competition will be announced at the end of January at Boot in Düsseldorf.
