Forget all associations. VanDutch yachts are not built in the Netherlands, but in Italy. VanDutch is a member of the "Del Pardo family", a renowned shipyard with 45 years of experience in yacht building. Founded in 2008, VanDutch undoubtedly belongs to the younger generation in the world of yachts due to its "facilities".
The VanDutch 56 is the perfect combination of style, performance and comfort, a boat that has the ability to optimally combine exclusivity and top-quality construction. De luxe features include the bathing platform, the bimini top and the anchor, which all move at the touch of a button. The lowerable platform at the stern becomes the ideal lift for water toys, which can be parked in the "garage" under the sun lounger. The invisibly stowed bimini top and the patented anchor at the bow can also be moved up and down at the touch of a button. If the anchor is to remain dry, Volvo Penta's Skyhook, which holds the boat in position under electronic control, can be activated - at the touch of a button, of course. It couldn't be simpler.
VanDutch offers two interior variants
The cockpit equipment is in a class of its own with a wet bar for cool drinks, comfortable lounge sofas and a combination of rear bench and Triple-X sunbed. In the engine compartment below is Volvo Penta's Inboard Performance System (IPS), which delivers comfort and safety in equal measure. At the heart of the propulsion system, which is equipped with 11-litre diesel engines and pod drives, is its electronic control system, which allows the yacht to be manoeuvred safely and easily in any situation. Forwards, backwards, crossways or diagonally, the skipper determines the direction of travel with a joystick.
There are two options for the room layout below deck. The favourite is the Sleep version with bow and mid-cabin, which are furnished with comfortable double beds. The competitor, the Lounge version, advertises itself with convertible seating groups. There is a galley and a spacious bathroom with shower in each case.
