Sea-Doo is launching a limited-edition personal watercraft in collaboration with the Senna brand. The RXP-X Senna 350 has 350 PS, will be produced in a limited run of just 1,991 units worldwide, and its colour scheme is inspired by Ayrton Senna’s legendary racing helmet.

When the name ‘Senna’ appears on a watercraft, it is bound to deliver performance. This is certainly the case with the RXP-X Senna 350 from Sea-Doo. The brand, named after the Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna who died in 1996, was founded in 1990. Currently, the Brazilian’s name features on his own clothing ranges and is also used in collaborations, such as with Tag Heuer. The partnership with Sea-Doo immediately highlights Senna’s heritage by boldly incorporating the gold, yellow and green of the Brazilian national flag.

Sea-Doo with the most powerful Rotax engine

For this special edition, Sea-Doo has opted for the sporty RXP-X platform as a basis. The centrepiece, however, is the new Rotax 1630 ACE. According to the manufacturer, the turbocharged three-cylinder engine produces 350 PS. This is said to enable the jet boat to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h around 15 per cent faster than previous models. The four-stroke engine weighs 91 kilograms and is manufactured in-house. Rotax is part of the Canadian BRP Group, which also includes Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo and Can-Am.

Colour scheme based on Ayrton Senna’s racing helmet

Visually, the special edition is inspired by Ayrton Senna’s original racing helmet. The design is not limited to the colourful paintwork. Sea-Doo has laser-engraved the three-time Formula 1 world champion’s signature onto the vehicle. Furthermore, engraved slogans (‘Seek your truth’ and ‘Born to win’) pay tribute to Senna’s attitude and sporting legacy. A commemorative plaque bearing the year 1991 marks Ayrton Senna’s third and final Formula 1 world championship title. A portion of the licence fees supports the Instituto Ayrton Senna, which promotes educational projects in Brazil.

Only 1,991 examples worldwide

The production run is deliberately inspired by Senna’s third world championship title. Sea-Doo plans to produce 1,991 units of the RXP-X Senna 350 worldwide. To give a rough idea: the Canadians have listed the 2026 model of the RXP-X with a base price of 26,599 euros. Sea-Doo had already announced for the 2026 model year the Connectivity and the colour palette its range of jet skis. The RXP-X Senna 350 now places greater emphasis on combining performance with brand partnerships.

A tribute to a champion

“Ayrton Senna never accepted limits – he was driven by a desire to inspire others to go beyond what they thought was possible,” said Bruno Senna, Ayrton Senna’s nephew and brand ambassador for Senna. “Every partnership we enter into comes with the responsibility of translating Ayrton’s values into tangible experiences. Sea-Doo has been committed to this mission from day one, combining performance with passion. We are proud that his legacy continues to inspire a new generation on the water.”
