The 40-metre design was developed in collaboration with the Swiss studio Valentin Design and combines long-range capability with the aesthetics of a contemporary motor yacht. The shipyard has deliberately positioned the model outside the traditional categories and aims to prove that range, seaworthiness and self-sufficiency no longer have to come at the expense of comfort or design. The B130 joins Bering’s superyacht division, which also includes the 165, which became the shipyard’s most sought-after model in 2026.
The Vector concept in detail
Vector Yacht describes an approach that does away with the compromises traditionally made in yacht building. Classic explorer yachts offered fuel capacity, structural strength and the ability to remain at sea for weeks on end. This usually resulted in rather angular superstructures. Motor yachts, on the other hand, generally have more elegantly appointed interiors, but an exterior design that often comes at the expense of genuine long-range autonomy.
The Vector concept emphasises direction and purpose instead. The hull has been designed to maintain its course across oceans and operate self-sufficiently for weeks on end, whilst the superstructure and interior space feature the sweeping, cohesive lines typically associated with lifestyle-oriented yachts.
Fit for expeditions
The interior volume, deck circulation and cabin layout of the 130 are on a scale normally found on larger vessels. The hull, range, stability, as well as tender and storage capacity, are on a par with a genuine long-range platform. “I believe the Bering 130 is one of the most impressive 40-metre motor yachts available today,” explains Alexei Mikhailov, founder and CEO of Bering Yachts. “The lifestyle, the features and the carefully thought-out layout set it apart in this size class.”
The layout between decks, guest areas and crew quarters has been designed as a continuous system. Owners can opt for a private deck featuring a full-width master suite, along with flexible guest accommodation and large outdoor decks. Crew quarters remain separate and efficient, with cabins and storage space to allow for weeks of independent operation.

The Bering 130 is now available to order, with a wide range of options to suit individual preferences. The design will be presented by Bering Yachts and Valentin Design at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
