The Italian shipyard recently announced a new main investor. CLP2 has made a major purchase in Cantiere delle Merche. The holding company is controlled by Giovanni Cagnoli (Carisma) and the Loro Piana family. Chairman Ennio Cecchini and Managing Director Vasco Buonpensiere continue to hold shares. Just two years ago, the German entrepreneur Torsten Schröder and later went on a world tour with "Maverick".
The "Nasiba" shipyard recently launched the Number three in the Flexplorer 146 series is 44.30 metres long and 8.60 metres wide. Built in Ancona and designed by Winch Design, the ship shows the owners' deep commitment to health and well-being. Here are the first pictures of the interior.
The British studio Winch Design assessed every aspect on board "Nasiba" according to sustainability and global health standards. Naturalness, freedom from harmful substances, low VOC values (volatile organic compounds) and sustainable procurement were at the top of the list. Together with EcoNest Architects, professionals for health-conscious and ecological construction, a high indoor air quality was created with almost no electromagnetic fields. A minimal ecological footprint.
"We are incredibly grateful to the owner for entrusting us with such a visionary mission that redefines the principles of luxury through the lens of well-being and sustainability," says Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of Cantiere delle Marche.
The layout is family-friendly, there are even dedicated learning and play areas for the children. The interior was influenced by the Wabi-Sabi design philosophy and mixes earthy colours, organic textures and untreated surfaces.
So-called biophilic design principles took centre stage: Real plants, natural materials and soft lighting support the body's natural circadian rhythm. An infrared sauna next to the owners' bathroom complements an ice pool on the foredeck.
The dining table and chairs are made of 250-year-old wood from fallen trees. The "tree of life" in the classroom and playroom on the main deck is also made of such wood and presents the treasures that the family collected on their travels. This room also contains a world map made of cork inlays, the material can be harvested without felling the tree.
One of the most striking features on board is a living wall of preserved moss that forms the centrepiece of the stairwell. The room contains a sculptural element made from the root of an elder tree as well as clay plaster walls - a contemporary pollutant-free surface.
A 3D wave pattern was milled into the wooden floor, inspired by the feeling of walking barefoot on sea sand. The rugs are made of 100 per cent wool, hand-woven in Sardinia and dyed with natural pigments.
The design puts people at the centre, showing care for the environment and for a young family who need an adaptable 'home' as they explore the world.
The yacht from Cantiere delle Marche runs with modern exhaust systems that comply with IMO Tier III standards and enable operation in ecologically sensitive regions. It also has low energy consumption and efficient long-term operation.
Two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines work below deck and the tanks hold 65,000 litres. At a speed of 10 knots, the range is around 5,500 nautical miles.
The shipyard has also announced the keel laying of a RAW 110. It was not until late summer 2024 that a RAW delivered. The new Cassetta design scores with plenty of storage space and storage area for tenders and toys. As a keen biker, the owner wanted a protected bike storage space at the stern. In an interview, the IT expert describes how he ended up at Cantiere delle Marche while looking for a family yacht. First, however, he had to convince his wife of the "raw" design of his favourite model.
We wanted a yacht that reflected who we are: an active, young, sporty family. The RAW was the perfect choice: large and comfortable, yet unconventional. With a length of around 30 metres, it offers the ideal balance between space, comfort, range and manoeuvrability.
