"Inspire" - the name refers to the motto: "Power of inspiration". Head designer Sander Sinot summarises: "The sea has always inspired people, through the visual splendour of the waves and the sky and as a source of wonder, stories of discovery and legendary journeys."
The 138-metre Giga builds on this heritage, opening up interior and exterior spaces, showcasing huge outdoor decks and maritime features such as a blue-hole pool and a Nemo lounge. The exterior lines of "Inspire" are three-dimensional and curvy, the light, blue-green colour of the hull blends in with the sea and sky. Floor-to-ceiling glass façades and various openings reinforce this effect.
Life on board takes place on six levels, including one for the owners, an upper deck with a sky lounge and open wheelhouse, a main deck with cabins and a restaurant as well as a beach deck with VIP suites, spa, sauna and lounge. The pool is also located on this level in the middle of a rocky landscape - the round, deep water hole with a diameter of ten metres has a glass floor so that you can practically swim with the sea creatures.
For further entertainment, guests go to the midship lobby with a central staircase; the sculptural design makes the steps appear to float freely in space.
The lobby also serves as an anteroom to the large auditorium, which entertains up to 40 guests with a stage and large screen. After the theatre performance, the restaurant is located one level higher with an open show galley, where tables are set in small groups or in the style of a conference room. The 2.85 metre high glass façades can be pushed to the side, while the outdoor deck extends the space to include a 588 square metre terrace. Here, deckchairs are grouped around the eye: a round hole in the ground, directly above the beach pool.
Sleeping space for up to 22 guests is provided on several levels, the two VIP cabins are located on the beach deck close to the waterline, each with a double bathroom and dressing room as well as a folding balcony opposite the bed.
The owner's suite at the very top comes with floor-to-ceiling windows and 250 square metres of living space - with a bathroom, two dressing areas and a private lounge with a planted conservatory. The outdoor deck is perfect for an early morning yoga session.
Eight guest suites are located at the front of the main deck, all with a built-in bench in the window fronts. Those wishing to meet up with other guests can arrange to meet in the skylounge. The spacious area with fireplace measures 379 square metres and can also accommodate a larger group of guests.
The open wheelhouse lounge is the place for guests who want to be part of the voyage and experience how the yacht rushes through the water at up to 16.5 knots. The sociable working environment may be a little unusual for the captain, chief mate and crew, but the "wheelhouse of the future" combines the latest navigation technology with an efficient room layout.
However, the focus of the yacht is on the lowest level, the area around five metres below the surface of the sea. In the round, lowerable Nemo room, guests can experience the floating underwater world close enough to touch while staying nice and dry.
"Inspire" is ready to be built. Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design have designed the concept in such a way that it can be customised to the wishes of the future owner while still remaining unique.
