The well-known former quarterback Tom Brady (45) is aiming to win the first UIM E1 World Championship for electric racing boats. The aim is to promote innovation and sustainability in water sports

One of the world's most successful sportsmen - Tom Brady - has now turned his focus to winning the inaugural UIM E1 World Championship, a new competition for electric racing boats. Tom Brady brings his ambition, leadership and ability to perform under pressure to this water sport. He is considered one of the best quarterbacks of all time, holds the record for most Super Bowl MVP's (five), won seven Super Bowls over three decades and was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year twice (2005, 2021). Off the field, Tom Brady has always worked to bridge the gap between athlete and entrepreneur. His projects include, for example, his clothing brand BRADY or 199 Productionsa global multi-platform production company that develops original premium content in the form of documentaries, feature films, television and digital formats.

It's great to welcome Tom Brady to the UIM E1 World Championship. Tom is a winner and will bring his incredible spirit to our races. Along with Rafael Nadal, Didier Drogba, Sergio Perez and other big names that we will announce soon, he will be fighting for victory in every race. Having a personality like Tom is a big boost for the UIM E1 World Championship." - Alejandro Agag, co-founder and chairman of the UIM E1 World Championship

Tom Brady continued his search for sporting challenges and became involved in several sports as a team owner. For this reason, and also because of his passion for the sea and sustainability, the 45-year-old decided to lead a team in the new UIM E1 World Championship. The athlete wants to inspire future generations to innovate and act for a sustainable future.
