The showroom in Greifswald opened its doors for the first time in March of this year. At the time, the Greifswald shipyard said that Hanse wanted to further strengthen its relationship with its end customers. Since then, various current models have been on display by appointment. The idea for the showroom on the shipyard premises grew during the Corona period. It is the second of its kind after the showroom in Bernau am Chiemsee.
Some of the major yacht and boat manufacturers have such showrooms. These are used both for sales and to showcase the latest models and designs. They give potential buyers the opportunity to view the various models in person and get a better idea of their size, amenities and build quality. A showroom also offers the chance to make direct personal contact with the shipyard, which makes the purchasing process easier and more personalised.
