Powerboat Award 2023: All nominees for the boat of the yearPhoto: Pierre Mangez
For the first time, the electric boats are running in their own category
28 boats walk the catwalk and could become the powerboat of the year. We show the nominees in all classes. The winners will be announced at boot 2023!

"Boatmag.it", "Bätliv", "Neptune", "Marina CH", "Motorboot", "Nautica i Yates", "Yachtrevue" and BOOTE: editors-in-chief and testers of the renowned motorboat magazines have made their choice. They are looking for the best of the year in six different categories. In view of more than 250 new launches and the rapidly increasing presence of catamarans and electric boats, this was no easy task and another reason to give the "electricians" their own category here.

In this article:

Fact: Only boats that have been tested by the jury prior to the vote may be selected. The experts from the writing guild have abandoned the fixed points system for the judgement. The jurors meet in the "voting centre", exchange results and points of view, discuss - often controversially - and then select the nominees for the European Powerboat Award 2023 in an open vote. Important: workmanship, handling characteristics, safety, room layout, price-performance ratio and the implementation of innovative ideas always have priority. The award winners will be announced next weekend at boot in Düsseldorf as part of the "Flagship Night".
