The 2022 season is over, the boats have been winterised - time for a look back:

In addition to the cancellation of the Düsseldorf boat show in January due to the coronavirus, the exploding fuel prices at the start of the season, the tight mooring situation in the classic holiday destinations and, last but not least, the supply bottlenecks for boats, engines and accessories were probably the most discussed topics in skipper circles. As a result, quite a few boaters adjusted their dream of a new boat, their travel plans or their conversion projects to the new circumstances.

The distances travelled became shorter, the old engine was repaired instead of replaced, and the summer cruise was limited to home waters. Holidays in your own waters are currently more attractive than they have been for years. This also applies to the Müritz, which we present in our travel section in this issue.

And what about the trade fairs? As things stand today, all planned exhibitions such as the Berlin Boot und Fun or the leading trade fair boot will take place in Düsseldorf, and I would like to invite you to a free drink and a chat at our trade fair stands in Berlin and Düsseldorf - once again for once.
