Narrow Explorer: many things are different on board the 83-metre yacht from Silver Yachts, ...

The name of the 85.3 metre yacht fits the programme - "Wanderlust" is unusually keen to travel; the Australian from Silveryachts (2022) is also making a name for herself as a Sports Activity Vessel (SAV).

Fans of the underwater world get their money's worth, with diving and snorkelling equipment that impresses even professionals. The yacht also travels through the waters of the Indian Ocean and the South Pacific - regions that many guests have on their bucket list. It travels from island to island at a relaxed 17 knots, with a maximum of 23 knots possible.

The loft on board "Wanderlust"

The loft - a winter garden whose glass surfaces slide to the side and open up onto a terrace - is particularly noteworthy. In the Skylounge, a giant screen entertains with sporting events, cinema or the highlights of the day. The screen sits in the ceiling - as in the loft and the heli-hangar, which increases the number of on-board cinemas to three.

The aft deck

Another special feature is the 400-square-metre aft deck, which is over 30 metres long. Two of the three tenders are moored here: a 7-metre Beachlander and an 8.3-metre Explorer. The third tender is a Windy SR52 with a top speed of 45 knots. Charter from 888,480 euros/week.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
