This is already the 17th edition of the popular festival. Around 18,000 visitors are expected to come to the Bay of Lübeck this year to view the boats on the water. Once again this year, some models can be tested directly on site during test drives. Highlights include the two world premieres from Targa and Davinci.
This year, three manufacturers have travelled to the event with world premieres. The Dutch boat builder DaVinci is presenting the 35 HT. The 10.60 metre long hardtop yacht offers space for up to six people in two cabins and is built as a semi-custom boat. With two Yanmar diesel engines with 170 hp each in the standard version, the boat has a top speed of 35 knots. Further world premieres are the Targa 46 Triple from Finland and the Letech Jet Tender with a length of four metres.
A special focus will be on the German premieres, which will be presented in the water for the first time. These include the Anytec 800 R and 860 SPD, the Marex 390 and the Hail 32 GTS and the Sirena 60. The German premiere of the European Powerboat of the Year should also be emphasised Sasga 48.
Also represented in Neustadt are Nimbus, Viknes, Prestige and Absolut. Power catamarans such as the Makai 37 and the Aquila 42 Coupe are moored in the Ancora Marina. The largest boat at the jetties is the Sunseeker 75 Sport with a length of 23 metres.
In the exhibition hall, the focus will be on equipment and craftsmanship with over 90 different specialised presentations for visitors. The "Felix Sand" rescue cruiser can also be visited on the quay. The crew will provide insights into everyday life as a sea rescuer and explain the systems on board. The Ancora Yacht Festival programme also includes an area for water sports beginners. There you can try out disciplines such as windsurfing and wingsurfing, cat sailing or sailing on the foiling dinghy "Birdy Fish". Optis are available for children. No previous experience is required to take part. On Saturday evening there will also be a harbour night with the band TILT, where you can round off the evening in the harbour.
By the wayOur editorial team will also have a stand at the event. Visit us for a chat, we look forward to seeing you!
