The latest model from the Nimbus shipyard is a further development of the W9 and, according to the manufacturer, should offer more space and functions on board. These include an aft lounge with adjustable seating, several sun loungers, an outdoor kitchen and gyro stabilisation. There is also storage space for equipment and enough room to move around on deck without any problems.
The W11 is tailored to the needs of boaters who want to make the most of their weekends and short trips." - Jonas Göthberg, Commercial Director of Nimbus Group AB
The motorboat was built with a focus on functional Scandinavian design. The style is a recognisable feature of the Swedish shipyard.
The seating on the W11 was built for social activities. The foredeck and aft deck are designed to offer large communal areas where people can relax. New on board: the function for folding side balconies. They are designed to offer even more space and make anchoring easier. There is also a hydraulic bathing platform located behind the two engines. It can also be set up as a staircase for disembarking.
Similar to the W9, the cockpit of the new W11 has been designed with a large window pane. There are three seats here. The boat was equipped with a targa, i.e. a walkaround cockpit. However, there is also the option of an electric sunroof, similar to the T11.
Below deck, Nimbus has integrated two spacious berths for four people and a bathroom with toilet and shower. With the lounge area, the shipyard wanted to create the centrepiece of the Nimbus W11. The seating should be adaptable for any activity, such as sunbathing or dining.
Like the T11 and C11 models, the boat was fitted with a stepped hull. The design with high-speed characteristics in combination with a low planning threshold had already proven itself in the models. The boat is equipped with two Mercury V10 outboard engines with 2 x 300 hp or 2 x 400 hp. The speed range is said to be between 20 and 40+ knots.
The W11 has been designed to offer more ways to arrive at your destination quickly and comfortably, with more space and features on board," says Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus
The W11 will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023. It is the last model in the WTC series (Weekender, Tender and Commuter). The Boote editorial team will carry out a test drive.
