New flagship for ISA Yachts
ISA Yachts has launched the ‘Belita’ custom model via Palumbos 3,300-tonne Syncrolift launched in Ancona. Measuring 79.82 metres in length and with an interior volume of 2,220 gross tonnes, this steel-aluminium vessel is the new flagship of the Italian brand, which, alongside Columbus Yachts, Extra Yachts and Mondomarine, forms part of Palumbo Superyachts.
The launch marked an important step for ISA Yachts in the Expansion of the large yacht business . The project demonstrates once again that the Italians are capable of carrying out even entirely bespoke projects from a technical and organisational perspective. Most recently, ISA launched the 67-metre-long vessel in Ancona “Sea Raider X”.
‘Belita’ is also the second 80-metre yacht to be built within the Palumbo Group. Previously, in 2019, Columbus delivered the 80-metre-long “Dragon” completed with a displacement of 2,300 gross tonnes. According to the shipyard, ISA Yachts also has further superyachts under construction, including projects with lengths of up to 100 metres.

"Belita" got into shape Espen Øino International. The design features a sleek silhouette and a visually compact structure. This is intended to make the proportions of the yacht, which is almost 80 metres long, appear comparatively light despite its size.
Wide, dark-tinted windows stretch across several decks, emphasising the horizontal lines. The superstructure steps down towards the stern. The individual decks draw the eye towards the water, creating a visual connection between the yacht and the sea.
At the stern, the layout gradually opens out towards the water. Large terraces and a striking pool area form a central outdoor space there. This area is intended to serve as an extension of the interior spaces and allow guests to relax right on the water’s edge.
Bespoke ‘Belita’ interior
Peter Marino Architect is responsible for the interior design. The American is regarded as a ‘rock star’ amongst architects and developed the interior in collaboration with the owner. Off-the-shelf solutions did not play a central role in this project.
As is customary with a fully bespoke yacht, the design was tailored to the client’s intended use, tastes and requirements. ISA does not provide specific details regarding the cabins, crew quarters or the individual living areas.
Up to 7,000 nautical miles away
The engine room of the ‘Belita’ houses two MTU sixteen-cylinder engines (16V 4000 M65L). Each engine produces 2,240 kilowatts. This should enable the yacht to reach a top speed of 18 knots. The stated cruising speed is 14 knots. With full tanks and travelling at ten knots, the range is said to be around 7,000 nautical miles.
