Small-scale foiling adds new flair to the interior - but it requires careful preparation, special conditions and expertise. The BOOTE workshop shows you how to do it

When we talk about boat wrapping, we usually mean work on the hull or superstructure. In addition to professional materials and tools, it requires meticulous preparatory work, a suitable hall with appropriate temperatures and a high level of expertise. For this reason, it is better to leave large-scale wrapping work to specialists. Nevertheless, it is often small areas that make a body, the driver's cab or, in particular, the interior appear more valuable once they have been wrapped.

Another advantage: If you no longer like the colour or decor selection after a few years, you can easily remove adhesive films again. This is more difficult with coloured paint. The selection of suitable films is huge. They are available in every conceivable colour, design and size in DIY stores or from specialist dealers. For our example, an old motor yacht with a very wood-heavy interior, we opted for a plain white colour. When buying, you should always make sure that the film is suitable for the intended use (inside or outside) and is available in the right size.
