Magdeboot 2022 started from pole position. After trade fair cancellations in January, February and even at the beginning of March due to the coronavirus, Messe Magdeburg organised the first water sports and leisure exhibition of the year in Germany. From 10 to 12 March 2023, the most important boat and water sports trade fair in Central Germany will open its doors again in Magdeburg.

Even if it is not starting from the front row this time to generate and strengthen interest in water sports and provide the industry with potential customers, Magdeboot 2023 has what it takes to be just as successful as last year. Programme: numerous motorboats, including some electric boats, a growing, diverse fun sports area, popular accessories, for example for securing boats or remote-controlled mooring systems, maritime equipment, boat insurance, houseboats for charter holidays or day trips, travel market. More than 80 exhibitors are looking forward to meeting water sports and outdoor enthusiasts. The complete list of exhibitors is available on the Trade fair website.

Mini boats big time

The "Neptun Yachts Group" will be showing special highlights with sailing and motor boats. In addition to the usual "standard sizes", not only the smallest sailing boat Deltania Mini with a length of 2.30 metres, but also the smallest motorboat Phantom Mini with a length of only 2.90 metres will be on display. They stand for flexible sailing fun with easy handling. And without any slip or mooring fees. The Deltania mini boat can simply be transported on the roof of a car with a suitable device or in a trailer. "Nevertheless, they are of course fully-fledged boats that guarantee an extraordinary experience on the water," says Johanna Buhrke, project manager of the trade fair. More and more manufacturers are also focussing on zero emissions, quiet and climate-friendly.

Electric motors are conquering the boat market and have become an integral part of Magdeboot. They are attracting some new exhibitors, but certainly also new groups of visitors," says the project manager.

A "discovery trip" at Magdeboot also leads to must-have gadgets and accessories, for example for securing boats or remote-controlled mooring systems. The fun sports area promises even more variety with plenty of activities and ideas for the start of the water sports season. "Compared to last year, there will be a particularly large number of exhibitors here," announces Johanna Buhrke.

The theme of holidays on and around the water with a travel market at home and abroad is also a must at the 22nd Magdeboot. In addition to houseboats for charter, there will be unusual specials such as "39 degrees - my whirlpool boat" and for a day trip.
