If you order the Invincible 46 with the maximum motorisation of 1800 hp (4 x 450 hp outboard engines) at the transom, you should have no problems being the first to arrive at the fishing spot. With a length to width ratio of 1 to 3.8, the boat is extremely slim for a catamaran. The hull is vacuum laminated, which makes it light and benefits the top speed.
On the other hand, living comfort takes second place - at least in the standard version. However, it is impressive when it comes to fishing: six insulated storage compartments for your catch are located on both sides of the deckhouse under the side decks (three on each side). Aft there are also three livewells for storing live fish. The walkaround layout allows fishing in a full 360° range. Three bilge pumps, each with a capacity of 2000 gallons per hour, are also standard.
But there are many other specialised accessory options on board the Invincible 46, not only for the sporting aspect, but also for comfort in general - for example various seat combinations for indoors and outdoors.
The 14 metre long and 3.70 metre wide Invincible 46 Pilothouse is powered by a whole battery of outboards, as already mentioned (and as is usual for US sportfishing boats): there is a choice of four 400 Mercury Verado, 425 Yamaha XTO or 450R Mercury Racing engines. The fully equipped boat weighs just under 13 tonnes. The fuel tanks hold 3000 litres.
Invincible Boat Company, based in the greater Miami area in the US state of Florida, specialises in open performance sport fishing boats with centre consoles. The portfolio includes four monohulls between 33 and 43 feet in length and now six catamarans from 33 feet in length. The new 46 Pilothouse is not only currently the flagship of the fleet, but also (as the name suggests) the first model from Invincible Boats to come with a closed deckhouse.
