Innovation and e-motion: at the 12th edition of Germany's largest in-water boat show from 12 to 14 May 2023 in the ancora Marina in Neustadt in Holstein, organiser Heiko Zimmermann and his Yachtfestival365 GmbH are setting new accents. On board as a media partner of the Hamburg ancora Yacht Festival: Delius Klasing Verlag with its magazines BOOTE and YACHT. The range of boats and yachts on display extends from 2.50 metre tenders to the 28 metre long, state-of-the-art rescue cruiser used by sea rescuers. Fans of fresh boat designs and innovative developments will get their money's worth in both the sailing and motor yachts. With a total of five world premieres and 14 German premieres, the Hamburg ancora Yacht Festival is once again a show of innovations this year," says Heiko Zimmermann, founder and skipper of organiser Yachtfestival365 GmbH. "Above all, however, this year's yacht festival also offers the opportunity to awaken a passion for e-mobility on the water. Due to the ongoing development of battery-powered electric motors, their use on yachts is becoming more and more important in order to further intensify the natural experience of water sports. We are presenting real e-motion boats that open up completely new opportunities for environmentally conscious water sports enthusiasts when travelling thanks to their greater range."

E-mobility, hybrid drives and self-sufficient charging via on-board solar modules characterise the innovations from Candela and X-Shore from Sweden, Greenline from Slovenia and Delphia from Poland. The pioneers of e-drives and generators from Torqeedo Fischer Panda and Temo are represented at the yacht festival on the Bay of Lübeck.

At 18.66 metres in length, up to 16 people travel across the seas on three decks, enjoying comfort, plenty of light and perfect boat building skills. This is complemented by theSiren 58 with a length of 18.60 metres. Thanks to the efficient underwater hull, this luxury ship allows you to travel to the most beautiful regions of the world with low fuel consumption.

Only half a metre shorter is the parade boat fromGaleon. The 18 metre long Galeon 550 and the 405 are aimed at a clientele of sports enthusiasts who love comfort and combine luxury with high cruising speed. The same applies to the Sunseeker Predator 60.

The yachts Flipper 900 ST and Gran Turismo 36, the Marex models 360 Cabriolet Cruiser and 375, Nimbus 365 Coupe and 405 Coupe as well as the Sargo 33 and 36 Explorer fall into the sporty elegance category. "All of them make island hopping in the Baltic Sea or travelling from port to port a pleasure," enthuses organiser Yachtfestival365 GmbH in its press release. All-rounders for short trips are the Nimbus T8, the Quarken 27 Cabin, the Sterk 31 RC and the Sealine 390.

Unusual paths in design are presented by theLy 30+ at her German premiere. The yacht is characterised by its high superstructure, which provides plenty of space and light in the deckhouse. The Swift Trawler 41 Fly also follows these design features and, like the Targa yachts 27.2 and 44 CFC, offers a striking appearance among the touring yachts. The Linssen Grand Sturdy 550 AC Variotop has its very own style. Its dignified charm ensures that the 16.50 metre long yacht attracts attention in every harbour.

Hamburg Tuckerboat 675 celebrates its world premiere

Yachtwerft Hamburg is even presenting a world première with the HamburgTucker boat 675. This little classic embodies typical Hamburg life on canals and rivers and is suitable for tours in a cosy Nordic style. The same category includes theDamsko 750which brings the feeling of cosy canal cruises from the Netherlands to Neustadt in Holstein.

For fast-paced driving fun, the models fromSaxdor. Announced as the German premiere of theSaxdor 270 GTO you are as fast as you are efficient in terms of fuel consumption. Also on show: Saxdor 200 and 320 GTC. For fast journeys, theAxopar yachts built. "The sophisticated hull design ensures exceptional driving pleasure, whether on the small 25 Cross-Top or the 28 Cabin version," promises the manufacturer.

The small day cruisers, patrol boats, tenders and RIBs fromBayliner, Iron, Nimbus, Parker, Poca, Ryck, Quicksilver, Tidemann, Yamarin or ZARwhich are perfect for spending days cruising, wakeboarding or waterskiing on the Baltic Sea, as coach boats or as tenders for the big yachts".

Gründl presents the Karnic S37x as a world premiere

With a large fleet and selection of motorboats Gründl boat import from Bönningstedt on the Bay of Lübeck. On the yachts presented, brand Cap Caramat, Delphia,Karnic S37x as a world premiere,Merry Fisher 1295 Fly premieres in Germanyand Prestige, you can enjoy life on and around the water in the most beautiful ambience. While the 6.5 metre long X Shore 1 will be shown in its element of water for the first time at a German boat show, the 1.5 metre longer sister modelEelex 8000already known and will also be visible on the pontoons.

Electric European Powerboat of the Year 2023

Candela has completely rethought the motorboat. The boat builders from Stockholm combine the advantages of hydrofoils with fully electric drives. The Candela C-8 - now "guest of honour" at the Hamburg ancora yacht festival - was awarded the European Powerboat Award in the Electric category. Sophisticated electronics simultaneously ensure safe "flight characteristics" and long ranges of up to 50 nautical miles. The foils minimise water resistance and the C-8 reaches a top speed of 24 knots when planing.

Infotainment on the stages and fun on the water
